i read somewhere that a group of people "created" in their minds, a person. they gave this person a name and they all strongly believed in it. after a while, supposedly other people started noticing a person hanging around by these people. the people that manifested this person couldn't see the person. others just noticed the person was just kinda hanging around. what is the real term for this?

Its a thoughtform…an idea given a physical shape. It has different names depending on the culture…egregore tulpa thoughtform etc they all are created from conscious energy by individuals and empowered with a name.
