Science and Faith are both on parallel but different paths, seeking Truth but through different means and mindset.

What can get closer to that which is all things and no things? Are they not already One with all that is? It is only perception that allows for separation to present itself.

Most great thinkers indicate that this is the case. You can go back to Plato with his shadows and true forms, or probably even further back if we dig. People have experiences of this greater reality all the time – lots of people. You have to be pretty arrogant to deny the greater reality. It’s like denying Florence just because you’ve never been there, though many many others have been there and can tell you all about it. Most of the really good questions have to do with what precisely that greater reality is like. So people that have had these experiences (things like answered prayers, miracles, visions, etc.) get together and discuss, and for the most part, they are like the blind men describing the elephant. But some are different. They really have a glimpse at the bigger picture. We call them prophets.

No, there are no ethical concerns like this in the world of music… and if there were ethical concerns like this, 40 percent of the others auditions probably have done much more questionable stuff than this. Musicians are constantly learning tricks to get just a little better or further ahead. Some will spend thousands of dollars for camps to learn to feel heavy, or to meet somebody that may know somebody else, it's a dog eat dog sort of world. The only ethical concern you should have is how it effects you. Will this hurt you? Are you paying for today with tomorrows better health? Don't worry about the music side, you're just fine.

The 2000 election did manifest some sour grapes, but I think it was justified.

I can't recall any other election in my lifetime where one candidate won the popular vote and the other won the electoral votes.

I never saw anything like the ballot issue in Florida either. The fact that Bush's brother was the Governor of that state at the time makes it look suspicious. I don't care what anyone says.

However, I am willing to put that behind me. Bush served two terms and is on the way out. It's too late to do anything about it now.

The so-called Birth Certificate issue is not the same thing. It's more in the realm of Bigfoot and UFOs. It only exists in the minds of some bigotted and xenophobic conspiracy buffs. Why were these people willing to accept the authority of the Supreme Court in 2000 but not in 2008? They dismissed the lawsuits. End of story.

Ok, I read this wrong. What precedes the manifestation of sin is Pride and rebellion and thinking that one is righteous in oneself. Therefore that person will continue on in this manner until their spiritual eyes are opened and can turn from their sins. If they continue however to walk in this way then they stand a chance to have their conscience seared and spiritual death will occur. It would take a lot of humility to be able to turn around.

There is absolutely no way physical laws will ever be able to identify and or measure consciousness. This is because it has no physical form. It exists on the metaphysical level. I mean this in the academic sense, not the common sense of the word "metaphysics." Please see the link below for a description of the difference:

Also residing in the same realm are concepts or universals. For example, I can ask you to show me a place to sit, and you can do this because there is physical form involved. But then if I said, "No, I mean show me the concept you invoked to identify a place to sit." And, by the way, how did you know it was the same as my concept for a place to sit?

You would not be able to do it.

Also residing in the academic metaphysical realm is the concept of will.
If you really want to have fun with this, throw will and willpower into the mix as well. Think about it, what good does it do to just try to distill and identify the action neutral "consciousness"?
Our consciousness is intertwined with will and harnessed by willpower, is it not?

These ideas will never be explained by science, only philosophy has a chance to discover them.
